Children's Book Week
November 15-19, 2004

We had several activities for Children's Book Week.  Each morning on the daily announcements we had a "Mystery Book" and a "Mystery Reader".  Students turned in their guesses to the office for a prize drawing at the end of the day.  Miss Rita Lott visited the K-3 classes.   Classes decorated their doors to look like their favorite book cover.  The doors will be judged on Monday, November 22 and the winning class gets a pizza party.  The library had a "Checkout Contest".  One Hundred books on the library shelves were chosen as secret prize winning books.  If a student, unknowingly, checks one out he/she wins a prize.  The library also hosted an Usborne Book Fair and a Storybook Museum.
