Accelerated Reader

Roan Creek Elementary takes part in the Accelerated Reader Program. We use the STAR test to determine reading levels. Students read books on their individual level and take comprehension tests. As a student's scores improve he/she is advanced to higher reading levels while improving his/her reading skills. Students earn points toward prizes in their classrooms.

Brown 4.5-4.9	Salmon Pink 5.0-5.4	Chartreuse Green 5.5-5.9	White 6.0-6.4	Gray 6.5-6.9	Rose 7.0-7.4	Aqua 7.5-7.9	Tan 8.0 and above
