First Grade Library Lesson Plans

     First graders meet once a week for 35 minutes.  During the first semester students learn how to use the library, the difference between fiction and nonfiction and they learn what authors and illustrators do.  In the second semester students learn about specific authors and illustrators such as Marc Brown, Lois Ehlert, and Arnold Lobel.
