Fourth Grade Library Lesson Plans Fourth graders meet twice a week in 40 minute blocks. The first semester is spent on different aspects of fiction books and their order on the shelves. Fourth graders begin to learn the divisions of the Dewey Decimal System. In the second semester students use research tools such as atlases, encyclopedias, and almanacs. They also study a unit on American Tall Tales as well as complete a keyboarding unit. |
