Kindergarten Library Lesson Plans *** FELLOW LIBRARIANS: OVER THE YEARS I HAVE HAD MANY LIBRARIANS FROM AROUND THE COUNTRY CONTACT ME ABOUT MY LIBRARY CURRICULUM. I AM HAPPY TO SHARE ANYTHING THAT I HAVE. IF YOU USE THIS SITE YOU WILL WANT TO COPY/PRINT WHAT YOU NEED. I AM CHANGING MY CURRICULUM TO ONE THAT IS PROJECT-BASED AND THESE PAGES WILL BE GONE IN A FEW WEEKS. Kindergarten classes meet once every six days for 40 minutes. The first semester we focus on book care, listening skills, and how to select a book The second semester students begin checking out books. We also spend time learning about different authors and illustrators. |
